Dear & Esteemed Patrons,

 

It is with a bittersweet feeling of regret & anticipation that I announce the closing of Minh's Bistro after six amazing and challenging years serving the Rehoboth Beach & Lewes, DE communities. I have been particularly honored to serve our local community of Vietnam veterans, as well as other active and retired members of our military, as I have always felt indebted to you for your sacrifices trying to protect my homeland from communism and for your continued service in protecting democracy around the world. I will truly miss this community -- all of you, military & civilian alike.

 

That said, I am entering another season of my life:  with my only daughter having entered her freshman year of college, it is time for me to get home to my wife & mother-in-law to take care of them, to travel a bit and to REST :)  Never fear, though:  the new owners replacing Minh's Bistro will be bringing a new and exciting variety of Asian tastes to our area. Opening in a short time, the new restaurant is named The Secret Sauce Thai Kitchen, and I look forward to enjoying the experience of dining with them myself! I will also be on site for the first few weekends the new owners open in order to make introductions and to say good-bye to old friends & patrons in person.  

 

Finally, I would like to thank all of you sincerely for your years of loyal patronage and support through thick and thin. Keeping Minh's Bistro operating throughout a global pandemic was truly a community effort:  it is no exaggeration to say that we could never have done it without such a supportive community of loyal customers.
